Posted on May 21st, 2010 No commentsI don’t know about you, but I’m one of the not-so-smart ones … I currently have a balance of around $10,000 on my main credit card, and we aren’t really set up to pay down that debt at the moment. That gives me about $1,200 interest every year (phew!), and is also the reason that I’m in the process of transferring my balance to a 0% balance transfer credit card! Offers of 0% for 6 months will save me around $600 instantaneously … so if your balance is sitting around $5000, you’ll save $300 in interest over the 6 months.
